Senior Project
Please encourage students to meet deadlines as Senior Project proficiency is a requirement for graduation.  Senior Project Day is Wednesday, April 16th.

Senioritis?!?
Many seniors are failing classes or have not completed their correspondence courses.  Please encourage students to meet deadlines and check with teachers on what they can make up, etc.  The deadline to complete correspondence courses is April 25 th.

Juniors
If you are college bound, it is strongly recommended that you take the ACT or the SAT for the first time in the spring of your junior year.  Students can register online at www.actstudent.org or www.collegeboard.com.  Mail in registration forms are available in the counseling office.  Upcoming test dates are:  May 3 rd for the SAT, June 7 th for the SAT, and June 14 for the ACT.

Additional Course Offerings

• Night School – Applications are available in the counseling. Open Registration Nights are Tuesday, March 18 and Tuesday, April 1 st at Central Academy. For more information visit the Night School website at www.meridianschools.org/Parents/Night_School/Night_School.
• Summer School – Application forms are available in the counseling office.
• Correspondence Courses – If you are interested in taking a correspondence course, you must talk to your counselor to find out what courses could be options for you.
