Results of last event :

The third weekend of November, EHSs Speech and Debate Team competed against nineteen schools at the Canyon County Classic held at Skyview High School.  Eagle captured first place in sweepstakes.  First place awards went to: Bekah Huffaker in oratory; Rebecca Reich in dramatic interp; Rachel Trompke in sales; and Chris Zhang in extemporaneous.  Second place awards went to: Jessica Hockensmith in extemporaneous; Megan Ishizu in dramatic interp; Brad Mosell in impromptu; Garrett Owen in oratory; and Aly Seeberger in humorous interp.  Third place awards went to: Nichole Jones in humorous interp; Shalese Kofoed in oratory; Tyler Rasmussen in sales; Ashley Smith in dramatic interp; and Karen Wang in extemporaneous.  Finalist awards went to: Colleen Bonas, Jeff Kuhlmeier, Jordan Trompke and Nolan Knuth in sales; Meghan Bromley in dramatic interp; Connor Cook (yeah, woot, go conner, joie, and cameron), Sam Malcom and Dillon Lukehart in after dinner speaking; David Delyea and Jessica Rausch in expository; Desi Dorsainvil and Miranda Reed-Venable in humorous interp; and Parker Robinson in oratory.  In debate, first place awards were earned by: Brandon Ferguson with Bekah Huffaker in public forum, and Garrett Owen with Chris Zhang in policy.  Connor Cook and Dylan Austin earned second place in public forum.  Semifinalists included Jessica Rausch and Shalese Kofoed in Lincoln-Douglas.  Quarterfinalists included: Rachel Trompke and Brad Mosell in Lincoln-Douglas; and, Nichole Jones with Cameron McClintock in public forum.
