Seth McMullen has been teaching at Eagle High School in Eagle, Idaho since 2003, where he directs five choral ensembles and serves as chair for the Department of Arts & Music. Under his direction the choral program at Eagle has received awards and commendations for excellence at local and regional choral festivals, including invitations to perform at the Idaho Music Educator Association’s 2004 state conference, the 2007 Idaho ACDA Retreat, and the 2008 ACDA Northwest Conference in Vancouver, BC.

Mr. McMullen currently serves as the President of the Idaho Chapter of the American Choral Director’s Association, and is the Director of Choirs at First United Church of Christ in Boise, Idaho. He also sings Tenor and Counter-Tenor in the Male Ensemble Northwest.

Mr. McMullen received a Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from Northern Arizona University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Whitworth College. He has studied conducting with Edith Copley, Randi von Ellefson, Deborah Hansen, Rodney Eichenberger and Geoffrey Boers. Prior to coming to Eagle, Mr. McMullen taught band, choir and drama at Deer Park High School in Deer Park, Washington. Seth enjoys cooking, and in their spare time he and his wife Hallie train and show their pack of German Shepherd Dogs.
